Synergy Sports has partnered with Federação Paulista de Basketball, the São Paulo Basketball Federation. The partnership covers commercial video rights, international OTT video rights the installation of 10 FIBA Connected Stadiums and Synergy’s coaching and scouting tools for all 10 teams.
10 arenas have already been transformed into FIBA Connected Stadiums with Synergy Sports’ patented Automated Camera System and suite of software to enable the complete capture, production, distribution and commercialization of games. Combined with Synergy’s industry-leading coaching applications, the competition now has elite resources for coaches and scouts to assess and improve player and team performance.
Synergy Sports CEO Mark Silver said of the partnership “We’re proud to announce this partnership with Federação Paulista de Basketball. Brazil has a proud history and tradition at the top level of the game and this partnership will help accentuate the commercial growth of the sport in São Paulo and beyond.”
Marcelo Gallicchio, Partnerships Director at Synergy Sports said “Through this partnership teams will gain access to the same coaching and scouting tools and services used by NBA franchises, top EuroLeague teams and elite US college programs. By also expanding on potential revenue streams, it’s an exciting time for São Paulo Basketball.”
Enyo Correia, President of Paulista Basketball Federation said “The partnership with Synergy Sports is very important to us due to all the benefits it brings to our competitions from the youth tournaments to our main professional championship. The technology provided by Synergy Sports is a key factor for the development of Paulista basketball and the development of our future players.”
This partnership marks an expansion of Synergy Sports’ existing growth in Brazil, with the company’s announcement earlier this year that it had partnered with the Brasileirão.
