Can you describe your role with Synergy Sports?

I’m a Sports Partnership Manager. My role consists of taking care of our relationship with our partners in sport and ensuring that we are both working towards producing the best content possible. I also provide training for our partners to help them understand how to use our technology properly.

What skills are necessary to perform well in your job?

First, you need to be a good communicator. Soft skills play a big role in this job. Languages and cultural understanding are also important for a communicator. Having an entrepreneurial sense is essential in order to implement new procedures and projects for our partners. And lastly, but really importantly, you should be passion-driven about the technology.

What do you like most about Synergy Sports’ culture?

Having a voice. This is crucial for me personally, and I think this is what Synergy Sports has done incredibly well to succeed. I feel that I’m a part of what we are building in the sports world; this sense of belonging makes me feel like much more than just an employee.

What attracted you to work in Sports Technology?

To be honest, when I first came across Synergy Sports, I was interested in the technology but I didn’t know exactly how it was developed. But once I found out, a completely new door opened for me. I think what really attracted me is how the technology can provide different people that work for sports the means and ability to optimise their work; it’s incredible. I’m looking forward to being part of this exciting journey.

What’s the most exciting thing you’ve done in your job recently?

Traveling to South America I think was the most exciting for me. I have been working in Brazil and Argentina in the past 5 months. Being on my own in these countries and in front of 30/50 people, understanding the culture and implementing our technology was definitely exciting and challenging.

What advice would you give someone starting out in Sports Tech?

Learn and investigate. There are so many things to learn in this industry and at the same time it is important to be up-to-date about how the industry works and how it’s growing.

What would you say to someone thinking about applying for a job at Synergy Sports?

I’d say; go for it! If you are looking for something to feel a part of and you are passionate about sport and technology, don’t think twice about it.
